Printed on the circuit board is "SGI OHCI403"

The first chip has the following three lines printed on it:

The second chip has the following two lines printed on it:

The O2 PCI slot specs are: 33Mhz, 5V, 32 bits, short card only. These drivers will NOT work on an Octane even with a genuine SGI firewire card (I've tried). Also, these drivers don't support anything else but video devices.

After installation with swmgr you will have two commands at your fingertips:

"ieee1394" to show you the tree of devices connected to the card

"dvlink" for the actual capturing process
