Displaying Information about a Stream

To display information about a stream that has been opened in the StreamWorks Player, use one of the following techniques:

SWPly200.gif Choose Stream Info... from the File menu.

SWPly200.gif Click the Info button.

The Information Window appears and displays the following information about the opened stream:

SWPly200.gif Server Name - the Domain Name or IP address of the StreamWorks server from which the stream originates.

SWPly200.gif Stream Name - the name of the current stream.

SWPly200.gif Stream Length - the total duration of the stream expressed in HH:MM:SS. This field is active only when the current stream is an On-Demand File.

SWPly200.gif Total Data Rate - the total amount of data in the stream measured in kilobits/second.

SWPly200.gif Video Data Rate - the amount of video data in the stream measured in kilobits/second.

SWPly200.gif Video Width - the horizontal size of video frames in the stream measured in pixels.

SWPly200.gif Video Height - the vertical size of video frames in the stream measured in pixels.

SWPly200.gif Audio Data Rate - the amount of audio data in the stream measured in kilobits/second.

SWPly200.gif Audio Sample Rate - the sample rate of audio data in the stream;

SWPly200.gif Audio Channels - the number of channels in the stream's audio data; valid values are Mono, Stereo, Joint Stereo, and Dual Channel.

SWPly200.gif Audio Format - the format of audio data in the stream; valid values are MPEG1, MPEG2, and LBR.
